During your scribbler's near-daily ca.70-mins. regular mid-morning stroll/jog in the Imperial Capital's Cleveland Park area, a walk/run partially intended on his part to pick up trash, including used plastic water bottles (PWBs) for placement in his neighborhood's waste receptacles,

He made the following PWBs discoveries on 9/2:

--Three PWBs on Tilden/Spring of Freedom Street, including a nearly full (of water) plastic bottle undiplomatically placed right outside the entrance to the Hungarian Embassy gate on its left stand.

--An unusually high nos. of PWBs in magical Rock Creek Park (three), with two in public picnic area no.1 and one on the east side, upper slope, of the Rock Creek Park's trail (on the way to its intersection with Porter Street), evidently cast aside from the window of a vehicle going down southward on Beach Drive.

--A normally high quantity of PWBs on Porter Street (your blogger counted four, unless his memory is failing him; he's characterized Porter as the Kingdom of PWBs trash, based on his near-daily pick-ups there), today including a crumpled, miserable-looking decapitated bottle without a label at the near-intersection of Porter and Tilden.

An additional elucidating, if not invigorating/artistic/optimistic, piece of news:

Kingdom of Plastic Water Trash, Porter Street, during your scribbler's today's search, disclosed to him a colorful PBW, with a pleasing design (who says art is absent from PWBs labels?), that yours truly had never seen before on the streets of Cleveland Park: A 20 FL. OZ. bottle, depicted below on the extreme left, with the inscription: LIFE WTR Purified Water, pH balanced ~ Electrolytes for taste

Total PWBs pickups Cleveland Park DC ... ten!

Not bad for a day's work!!!
